Simply Red offers a big concert in Tenerife

Simply Red closes his worldwide "Farewell Tour" in Tenerife with his last concert in Spain infront of 10,000 spectators, as reported in the organizers. The unconditional fans of the British band found themselves on a golf course Costa Adeje, which served as a generous and green stage to listen to the hits of Mick Hucknall and his band and enjoy them to the maximum. The loyalty of the fans to one of the biggest bands on the international scene in recent years, made this night a magical event for all the senses.

In front of an enthusiastic, mainly English audience, which consists of residents, and tourists, Simply Red performed the best of his pop career and win the spectators with a "best of" from his 25 years career in which they have sold more than 55 million CDs .

The goal of the night was to enjoy the hits of this group. Memories from the 80s and 90s. Pop, which was updated with soul, funk and blues.

Hits like: Stars, Lady Godiva's Room, Sunrise, You Make Me Feel Brand New, or Good Times Have Done Me Wrong could not be missed.The English band played over two hours without a break to savor the last notes of the tour in Spain and, as Mick Hughnall said: "to pass the page and enter in another chapter of a wonderful adventure."

The "Farewell Tour" includes over sixty concerts all over the world until December.

As support acts played the three winners of the "opening group competition", which was organised by the SGAE, and Canarias Sun Live Festival (concert organisation company) where over 150 groups from Spain, Central Europe and America competed.

On the golf course in Adeje already occurred artists like Elton John and Rod Stewart.

Simply Red is the third group of an innovative project , worked out by a group of Canary Island business people who have set themselves the objective of incproving the recreational opportunities and offers in one of the most turistic regions of the Canary Islands.
